Bagatelle Beach, St Tropez
Bagatelle Restaurant has seen success all over the world. Launching in the United States (New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas), then followed by Brazil (Sao Paulo), St Barth, and Dubai, Aymeric Clemente and Remi Laba (founders of Bagatelle) have implanted ‘Bagatelle Beach’ on the sands of Pampelonne, just a few meters from Nikki Beach.
Architect Gilles Pellerin from Cannes has designed the restaurant to bring back the original spirit of this legendary spot – it’s all about SUN, FOOD, MUSIC + GOOD FRIENDS READY TO HAVE A GOOD TIME. The gorgeous restaurant is located right on the water, so you can relax and enjoy a meal then head down to the sand to relax on a sun bed. But the day doesn’t usually pan out like that… Everyone comes dressed well for a civilized, divine lunch with friends (Wedges, caftans, big hats and bright lipsticks). The drinks are flowing and the wait staff are bringing out trays and trays of gorgeous seafood. The music is loud, creating a really fun buzz around the restaurant – it is almost hard to concentrate eating as you just want to dance! Then once lunch has finished and everyone is well and truly boozy – everyone is up on the tables dancing! Even the waitstaff are pouring your drinks from table tops. Champagne Showers break loose and tables start combine to form one giant party. Everyone from all ages gets involved. It is such a fun experience and something truly unique to St Tropez.
