EATS | Balmoral Boat Shed, Balmoral, Sydney

With an Aussie Summer fast approaching, there is no better place I like to spend my weekends than down at Balmoral Beach. It’s one of my favourite past times – as kids we spent most of our weekends there and now there is nothing I enjoy more than going for a swim and reading the paper on a Sunday morning.

Without doubt, when I am down at Balmoral I always stop in at The Boathouse Balmoral. It encapsulates the sun bathed, seaside surroundings of Balmoral Beach to an absolute tee. It is one of my all time favourite places in Sydney. It has a low key, unpretentious feel to it, great views and a lovely family feel.

The chefs have designed the breakfast/lunch menu’s around the best local produce. You can expect to see homemade granola with seasonal fruit and croissant french toast on the breakfast menu and freshly caught grilled fish or smoked trout pate on the lunch menu. You also can expect a great cup of coffee here. The Boathouse prides itself on great coffee using it’s unique blend created by their team of baristas.

Here are some shots from yesterday. I also got a little surprize package in the mail that morning from the guys at Vision Direct – my new Balmain Sunnies that I have been dying for – so I was excited to see the sun was shining so I had an excuse to wear them!

Wearing: My new Balmain Sunnies (sold here) and Don’t Ask Amanda Hat (sold here)
